Hematologist/Oncologist Job Description

PAGNY is seeking a highly skilled Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our hematological services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat patients with hematological disorders, including blood cancers and blood clotting disorders.
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans to manage patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in research and education initiatives to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of hematology/oncology.
Requirements:
  • Medical degree with specialization in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Completion of fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Active medical license in the state of New York.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
