Outpatient Physical Therapist Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide outpatient physical therapy services in the patient's place of residence. This role requires reliable transportation and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and establish individualized goals for each patient.
  • Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, activity level, and medical status.
  • Treat patients with therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and manual techniques to relieve pain and achieve established goals.
  • Document patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy.
  • CPR certification.
  • 3 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.

Competencies:

  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
  • Basic keyboarding skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple work sites.
