We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Robotics Engineer with a specialization in automation, design, and controls to join our team at Atomic Semi.

The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise and ability to independently manage projects from concept to completion, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

This role emphasizes rapid iteration of equipment and machine-to-machine, rather than large-scale industrial manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop end-to-end automation solutions for processes.
  • Create thorough documentation (CAD, drawings, design rationale, etc.).
  • Fabricate and assemble mechanical components and automation systems.
  • Develop and implement testing protocols to validate system performance and reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement them.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Mechanical component design.
  • Python scripting.
  • Experienced in vendor management and sourcing quality materials.
  • Basic ML/computer vision software skills.
  • Cleanroom equipment experience and/or protocols.
