Job Overview

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Baptist Health Care is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, while promoting teamwork and effective use of resources. This position requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient needs, developing effective plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Implement medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary for patient care
• Evaluate patient responses to care and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care, ensuring integration of information for the healthcare team
• Stay current with certifications, licensure, and continuing education requirements

Requirements

• Technical Diploma/Certificate, Nursing or Associates Degree, Nursing (Required)
• 1-3 years Acute Care RN experience, preferably in Critical Care or PACU (Required)
• Registered Nurse, Licensed State of Florida or eligible compact state (Required)
• BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS Provider, PALS Provider (Required)
