Job Overview

Great Lakes Mgmt Co is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Life Enrichment Staff member to enhance the quality of life for our senior residents. This part-time position involves planning and leading a variety of engaging activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive activity program that addresses the social, physical, mental, emotional, and sensory needs of residents.
  • Facilitate and lead both small and large group activities, as well as one-on-one interactions.
  • Coordinate transportation arrangements for residents attending external events, ensuring compliance with established policies.
  • Collaborate with volunteers to support and enhance resident programming.
  • Perform additional duties as required to ensure a fulfilling experience for all residents.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in activities programming within a senior living, assisted living, or long-term care environment is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative skills for developing and planning engaging activity programs.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents in various settings.
  • Ability to make informed decisions that prioritize the well-being of residents.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
