Multidisciplinary Interviewer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forensic Interviewer to join our team at the Pee Dee Coalition. This role involves working closely with children, adolescents, and their families to provide assessments and support for suspected child physical and sexual abuse cases.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess comprehensive knowledge of child development, dynamics of child abuse, and relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• To conduct thorough pre-interview assessments with relevant family members and/or guardians.
• To develop and implement effective interview strategies for suspected child and adolescent victims of abuse.
• To provide written interview summaries with comprehensive recommendations and conclusions, ensuring prompt completion for admissibility in court.
• To support case preparation and provide expert testimony in criminal and/or family courts.

Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Three years of experience interviewing child victims of suspected abuse or experience in child protective services, law enforcement investigations, case preparation, and court testimony.

Salary and Benefits:

$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
