Job Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a critical role in providing expert care to our customers. You will be responsible for processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers on health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and administering other programs developed by Walmart.
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintain confidential information.
  • Maintain controlled medication and required documentation.
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
  • Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs, and build commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
