Job Description:

PRIMARY PURPOSE

  • Accountable for executing a variety of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, adhering to safety and maintenance protocols to support the site’s operational objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out diverse responsibilities to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Respond to emergency repairs of production equipment during operations and conduct scheduled maintenance during machine downtime.
  • Perform basic machinist tasks as required.
  • Utilize mechanical skills, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machinery.
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and services.
  • Identify issues, replace or repair components, test functionality, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
  • Employ a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma/GED or two years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Familiarity with specialized equipment used in this role.

Hand Tools

  • Experience operating light and heavy machinery.

Other Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
