Job Summary

As a Tire Center Technician at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member's expectations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians.
  • Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in the TBC area and modeling high-quality service and products.

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 18 years old, have a valid state-issued driver's license, and be able to successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period. Preferred qualifications include experience in the auto service industry or retail experience.

Additional Information

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
