Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at ATCO Transport, Inc. in Wilson, NC. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of modern trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Perform inspections and repairs on suspension and steering systems
  • Utilize computer diagnostics and repair tools to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician
  • Proficiency in computer diagnostics and repair tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
