Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, including IV medications, blood products, and other therapies.
- Perform various procedures, such as inserting IV lines, administering blood transfusions, and performing ECGs.
- Document patient care and progress in the medical record, including vital signs, medications, treatments, and other relevant information.
- Current RN license in Tennessee or Compact RN license where applicable.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- 12 years of recent relevant nursing experience.
