Position Overview:
This role involves full-time shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, specifically from Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a long-term care setting is desirable.
- Must meet all state and local criteria for certification as a Certified Nurse Aide and Food Handler.

Key Responsibilities:

- Adhere to universal precautions and maintain proper infection control and sanitation standards.
- Engage in care planning and conferences, advocating for residents' preferences and needs.
- Monitor residents closely, reporting any changes in condition to nursing or household leadership promptly.
- Collaborate with household team members to fulfill the needs and desires of all residents.

Dining Services:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks, requiring certification in food handling.
- Support residents during mealtimes, facilitating conversation and ensuring a pleasant dining atmosphere.
- Help with kitchen-related tasks as needed.

Life Enhancement:
- Aid in planning and organizing social activities for residents, both individually and in small groups.
- Actively seek opportunities to support the social needs of residents through friendship and kindness.
- Facilitate spontaneous activities based on resident preferences throughout the day.

Housekeeping:
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas, ensuring a tidy environment.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available to meet resident needs.
- Work in coordination with the household homemaker to address housekeeping requirements.

Laundry:
- Assist in maintaining residents' personal laundry in good condition.
- Collaborate with the household homemaker to meet residents' laundry needs efficiently.
