We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Maintenance Technician to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key member of our Facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to maintenance calls and address spills, breaks, or other accidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain the general upkeep and safety of the facility, including cleaning and restocking restrooms, sweeping floors, and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Operate ride-on and walk-behind floor scrubbers, perform basic preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment, and ensure supplies are available to quickly answer maintenance calls.
  • Properly use equipment, handle products, keep accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Customer service experience
  • Preferred qualifications: custodial/janitorial experience, experience using forklift and pallet jacks
