Neurointerventional Nurse

Job Description:

Immediate Need for Neurointerventional RN:

With a strong focus on patient care and safety, we are seeking a highly skilled Neurointerventional RN to join our team at Yale Campus.

As a Neurointerventional RN, you will be responsible for administering conscious sedation and monitoring patient conditions, labs, and medication access. You will also set up and maintain sterile fields, assist during procedures, and troubleshoot hemodynamic monitoring systems.

This is a safety-sensitive position, and you will work closely with a team consisting of a Physician, Technologist, and XR Techs. You will perform catheter-based angiography to treat various neurologic abnormalities in adult and pediatric patients.

Our hospital, Saint Francis, is a regional referral and tertiary care center with a strong reputation in the community.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience in medium to large-sized facilities with high acuity patient flow
Experience in one or more areas: Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Neuro, Critical Care, Emergency Dept, or related higher acuity arena
EPIC experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient conditions, labs, and medication access
Set up and maintain sterile fields
Assist during procedures
Troubleshoot hemodynamic monitoring systems

Shifts and Call:

4-10s (M-F) 7a - 5:30p
Call is roughly 10-11 days per month
Weekday call is from 5:30pm to 7:00am and weekend call is from 7:00am to 7:00am
30-minute max response time
