About The Opportunity
We are seeking an IT Specialist to join our Thompson Creek Mine team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing desktop and network support for end-users, as well as working with network and server management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote IT support to end-users
- Diagnose and resolve computer hardware, software, and network problems
- Implement and maintain IT systems to a high-quality standard
- Protect data against loss or damage
- Secure IT systems against unauthorized use
- Minimize system outages and improve availability
- Share knowledge of IT systems through documentation and peer communication
About You
To qualify for this role, you will need:
- High school diploma and at least 3+ years of applicable experience
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Microsoft and Cloud certifications or related experience
- Working knowledge of computers and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
