Job OverviewNew Way Trucks is a family-owned company with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence in heavy manufacturing. We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality garbage truck bodies and parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply paint and primer to products using spray guns, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Assist in the preparation process, including tacking, masking, and drying.
  • Clean and maintain paint equipment, including guns, pots, and filtration systems.
  • Work with the safety department to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage waste materials in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and DNR guidelines.
  • Inspect work and make corrections as needed, completing inspection forms.
  • Operate a forklift to move around garbage truck assemblies.
Requirements
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in automotive or industrial painting is preferred.
  • Ability to work with supervisor to set and maintain a weekly paint schedule.
  • Clean and maintain an orderly paint storage building.
  • Familiarity with the painting process and equipment.
  • Excellent painting skills to produce a high-gloss, smooth finish.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents to obtain proper paint mixtures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
