Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant plays a crucial role in our Accounting and Finance Department, responsible for general cost, revenue, and bookkeeping transactions under the supervision of the Accounting Manager.

This position involves the entire accounting process, from entry posting to reconciliation and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely payments, and supporting financial closing, tax, and audit activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Post general entries on the SAP system for Account Receivable and Account Payable documents.
• Verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Maintain accurate tracking, backup, and archive filing of posted documents.
• Secure and confidentially manage sensitive documents.
• Reconcile statements for Customers and Suppliers and review General Ledger.
• Respond to Suppliers and generate ad hoc reports.
• Support financial closing, tax, and audit activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of general financial accounting, cost accounting, and double-entry posting.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles: assets, liabilities, loss, and profit.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Organizational, diligent, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Team player.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline required.
• One to three years of accounting experience.
