We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology.
Key Responsibilities- Operate diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images for medical professionals to interpret.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Assist physicians during invasive procedures, such as biopsies and thoracentesis.
- Document patient information, exam results, and any relevant medical history.
- Restock exam rooms with necessary supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
- Registered Sonographer (RDMS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
