Welding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder to join our dynamic team at Webster Combustion Technology LLC. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for welding metal parts together using blueprints, layouts, and sketches provided by our Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld metal parts together using blueprints, layouts, and sketches provided by the Engineering department
• Layout metal, set up, and tack in accordance with welding blueprints and specifications
• Use fixtures, jigs, clamps, and other positioning devices commonly used in welding
• Operate various power and hand tools as required to complete production welding tasks
• Perform routine maintenance on all machines and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Ensure compliance with all safety rules and standards, reporting any issues to the Team Lead or Operations Manager

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; welding certification or experience is desirable
• Ability to perform TIG welding tasks
• Heli-Arc weld experience is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints, technical layouts, and sketches
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions
• Knowledge and experience using manual and power hand tools
• Ability to use manual arc, wire, and MIG welders
• Familiarity with fixtures, jigs, clamps, and other positioning devices
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work overtime if required
• Familiarity with working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
