Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will perform daily distribution yard activities for a facility, including receiving, storing, and shipping/building of loads. You will operate a forklift and ensure load matches order prior to vehicle exiting yard. Your strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily distribution yard activities for a facility
  • Operate a forklift and ensure load matches order prior to vehicle exiting yard
  • Perform customer service activities
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work area
  • Follow safety programs and ensure compliance of OSHA regulation

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience
  • Ability to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions
  • Working Conditions are in a warehouse operations environment with considerable physical exertion
