Salary

This full-time healthcare position offers a competitive salary starting at $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime. A signing bonus of $2500 is also available.

Job Description

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in our community by providing total care for our residents. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care. You will also be responsible for visiting with residents, repositioning them as needed, and recording temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. Additionally, you will conduct range of motion exercises as required and observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, or behavior.

You will maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations, upholding our facility's policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor will make it easy to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
  • Current Kansas certification/registration to practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
  • Desire to work with the elderly

Work Schedule

This full-time position works 12-hour shifts, with a schedule that includes 3-day weekends every other weekend and 7 days off every 14 days. You will never work more than 3 days in a row and average 2 hours of overtime per week.
