CAD Technician Job Description

About the Role:

ESPO Corporation is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for preparing civil construction documents under the supervision of project engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare plan and profile, and cross section sheets using Bentley products.
2. Drafting of civil engineering plans and topographical surveys for land development/redevelopment for individual, commercial, residential and municipal projects.
3. Coordinate with designers to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight.
5. Self-motivated with strong work ethic to manage multiple projects and meet client goals.

Requirements:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Familiarity with, and understanding of Civil Engineering concepts and terminology is important.
• Must have working knowledge of Bentley products, MicroStation, Geopak, Open Roads, PC application software and drafting/surveying practices and methods.
