We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and administering respiratory therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders in critical and non-critical areas.
- Perform cardiopulmonary evaluations, monitoring, and respiratory therapy treatment techniques.
- Administer and/or monitor medical gases, mechanical ventilation support, and artificial airway care.
- Utilize scientific principles to identify, prevent, and remediate acute or chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction.
- Record all pertinent information of provided therapeutic procedures and patient response in the electronic medical record system.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
- Associate degree.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.
- NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
