Decarbonization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Decarbonization Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Dewberry. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical guidance and training to our design resources in energy engineering and decarbonization/electrification projects.

• Provide operational and technical guidance to design resources on energy engineering and decarbonization/electrification projects
• Assist the Business Unit Manager and Service Line Leader in developing and implementing the Decarbonization/Electrification growth strategy
• Collaborate with project/client managers to provide technical guidance and support to meet client needs and budget
• Work with a team of engineers on various private, public, and federal projects
• Team with architectural, electrical, structural, and other disciplines to provide full-range services to local and regional clients

• Accomplished mechanical engineer/PE with 20+ years of progressive technical experience in mechanical systems, thermal energy infrastructure, and clean energy technologies
• Experience in technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success in meeting contract specifications and achieving high performance and advanced energy design standards
• Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
