Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Computed Tomography Imaging Technologist will include:
  • Preparing patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them accurately.
  • Operating CT equipment to create high-quality images of internal body structures.
  • Maintaining CT equipment and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assisting physicians in reading images and analyzing patient conditions.

Requirements

To become a Computed Tomography Imaging Technologist, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • 1+ year of recent experience in a similar setting.
  • Valid professional license or registration (if required by state).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA (recommended).
  • ARRT or ARDMS Credentials per discipline.
  • Specialty-related certifications (preferred).
  • Professional references.
