Licensed Practical Nurse

Aveanna is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a home health setting.
Job Summary:The LPN will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes observing and assessing patient condition, documenting all activities and care delivered, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
Responsibilities:- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
- Observe and assess patient condition and care needs
- Document all activities, assessments, and care delivered
- Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan
- Provide education to patients and families regarding disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
- Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
- Home health experience
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
- Must be able to travel
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance
