Die Maker Apprentice

Rapid Tooling Systems is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. This role involves assisting experienced toolmakers in analyzing specifications, laying out metal stock, setting up and operating machine tools, fitting/assembling parts to fabricate, and repairing/building dies.

In this position, you will be responsible for attending and successfully completing all required apprenticeship classes, learning and demonstrating the ability to operate all required machines, tools, and equipment, and maintaining appropriate tools.

We offer a competitive compensation package including a salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as dental insurance, vision insurance, health insurance, short term disability, long term disability, company paid life insurance, voluntary life insurance, 401(k) plan with match, education reimbursement, paid vacation and holidays, and flex spending.

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma/GED, 1 year of experience in a die shop, and a valid driver's license. Machining experience or basic knowledge is also preferred.

This is a full-time position with shifts and schedules varying. Travel is not required.
