Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' functional performance abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve maximum independence.
- Provide safe and effective occupational therapy services, including modalities and treatments, in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Supervise occupational therapy support personnel and ensure the provision of high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Illinois.
- Basic proficiency with computer keyboard and software applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage workload and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Two to three years of experience delivering occupational therapy services in a similar environment.
- Experience working with patients with orthopedic and hand specialty needs.
