The Georgia Military College is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to serve as its next President. As the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing transformative leadership, strategic vision, and administrative expertise to drive the institution's growth and success.
The President will oversee the development, administration, and coordination of all operations and programs, ensuring that the College remains in compliance with accreditation requirements. They will also serve as an academic leader, working closely with the College's Chief Academic Officer and Prep School Principal to ensure a high-quality educational curriculum and talented faculty.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully leading a complex organization through change, demonstrating exceptional leadership and integrity in an academic and/or service environment. They will have a clear vision for the institution, outlining strategic objectives and priorities, as well as the means to achieve them.
The President will be responsible for growing student enrollment while maintaining excellence in teaching and advancing creative scholarship. They will champion innovative student learning and student success, fostering a sense of belonging through a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The successful candidate will also be a skilled fundraiser, able to cultivate and steward donors to increase philanthropic support and drive the strategic direction of giving. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, community leaders, and State legislators.
The President will be expected to possess high emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills, with an inclusive and transparent communication style. They will be a compelling and energetic personality, with a demonstrated history of strategizing, charting a vision, and engaging multiple stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree and Senior Service College or equivalent, with a proven record of military experience and strategic thinking. They will also possess exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful management and team building.

The President will be responsible for carrying out other leadership duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Board of Trustees.
