We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team at Preventive Measures, a leading provider of mental health services.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, counseling, and supportive services to a diverse population of children and adolescents. This is a fee-for-service position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to children and adolescents, including those with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and staff meetings to ensure high-quality care and stay current with best practices.
  • Stay current with professional literature and trends in mental health, including evidence-based practices and emerging research.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) (preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and emerging research in mental health.
