Pump Truck Driver/Operator Job Summary

Doodie Calls is seeking a skilled Pump Truck Driver/Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a pump truck on pre-determined routes, collecting waste from portable sanitation units, and depositing their contents into the truck.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate pump truck on designated routes, ensuring safe and efficient collection of waste.
  • Perform pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle and document any issues.
  • Refuel the truck and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with mechanics to ensure proper maintenance and repair of the pump truck.
  • Transport waste to designated processing and disposal facilities.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors regarding delays, accidents, or other issues.
  • Maintain accurate logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license or equivalent required to operate a pump truck.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work and drive in various weather conditions.
