Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Charles River as a Clinical Veterinarian, working closely with our safety assessment team to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch veterinary care for laboratory animals while developing your skills and expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage animal health care within the facility, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on advanced veterinary techniques
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve animal welfare and refine our care protocols
Qualifications:
  • Veterinary degree (D.V.M./V.M.D.) or international equivalent required
  • 0-2 years related experience with animal care; training program available
  • Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in at least one U.S. state required
