Gate Automation Specialist

Position: Full-Time Technician working 40 hours per week. The schedule consists of 4 days per week, with 10-hour shifts. Compensation ranges from $28 to $32 per hour, depending on experience.
Experience Requirements: To qualify for the top pay rate, candidates must possess significant experience and demonstrate autonomy in the maintenance and troubleshooting of gate operators, requiring no additional training. A background in basic electrical or low-voltage systems is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with at least two years of experience in fields such as Gate Automation, Security Camera Installation, Garage Door Installation, Fire Alarm Installation, HVAC, or other technical trades.
Physical Requirements: Candidates must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs and working outdoors in challenging Arizona temperatures. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record are mandatory. Applicants should be prepared to undergo a comprehensive background check, including drug testing. Experience working in extreme summer conditions in Arizona is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities: Gate Technicians are expected to possess a diverse skill set. Daily tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of gates and operators
- Troubleshooting and repairs
- Installation tasks
- Light fabrication and minor concrete work
- Loop replacements
- Access control installation and maintenance
- Telephone entry systems
- Additional duties as assigned
