Top Law Firm Seeks Experienced Employment Litigation Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to join a prominent law firm specializing in General Practice & Private Wealth. Our firm has a strong presence in Pasadena, CA, as well as offices in Encino, CA, El Segundo, CA, and Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle a variety of employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Respond to pleadings and manage discovery processes effectively and efficiently.
  • Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Argue motions and represent clients in both state and federal court.
  • Provide expert advice on labor and employment law to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop strategies for litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Stay updated on developments in employment law and advise clients accordingly.
Requirements:
  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years' experience in employment litigation.
  • Proven experience in responding to pleadings and managing discovery.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle litigation matters from start to finish.
  • Strong experience in drafting and revising handbooks.
  • Proven experience arguing motions in state and federal court.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor and employment law.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
