Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Job Summary:
The quality control lab technician will perform quality control testing on products in the chemical manufacturing industry. This is a Contract-to-Hire position that requires a strong understanding of measurement analysis, chemicals, and laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control testing on products in the chemical manufacturing industry
- Conduct testing involving density, particle size distribution, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), carbon content analyzer, moisture content, viscosity, pH and gas generation, rheology, TGA, stability analyzer, ICP, X-Ray Diffraction, Karl Fischer, and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
- Operate laboratory equipment, including particle size analyzers and BET instruments
- Collect and analyze data, and report results to management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality control issues
Requirements:
- BS in sciences preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in a chemical lab environment
- Understanding of measurement analysis, chemicals, and laboratory equipment
- Experience with particle size analyzers and BET instruments a plus
