We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer II to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a Sonographer II, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for performing Echocardiography Ultrasound techniques and Echocardiography examinations for subsequent evaluation and interpretation by a physician. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure that patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Echocardiography examinations on patients in various settings, including Intensive Care areas
- Ensure proper reporting of equipment malfunction or downtime
- Perform quality Echocardiography diagnostic studies according to physician orders
- Maintain records of examination data and other pertinent information on patients
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in Echocardiography ultrasound and a registered Cardiac Sonographer in Echocardiography under ARDMS or CCI. You will also need to have formal training in Echocardiography ultrasound and basic clerical skills.
