The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
Patient Care Leadership:
We seek a skilled Lead Physical Therapist to oversee patient care, mentor staff, and drive clinical innovation. The successful candidate will lead our team in delivering evidence-based treatments and promoting patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, incorporating history taking, physical assessments, and functional evaluations.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans grounded in current best practices and patient-specific goals.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide hands-on interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and self-management techniques to enhance recovery and promote long-term health.
- Mentorship: Serve as a resource and guide for team physical therapists, PT assistants, and interns, offering support in clinical practice and professional development.
- Coordination: Ensure adequate staffing coverage within hours of operation and coordinate technical scheduling.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including program development and patient outcome assessments.
- Continuing Education: Stay current on trends and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift and transfer patients, and perform physical interventions as necessary.
