Job Description

Job Title: Party Chief

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Party Chief to join our team at Essel. As a Party Chief, you will be responsible for leading survey operations and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily survey activities, considering multiple projects and productivity goals.
  • Enforce neat and orderly field notes for standard surveying operations.
  • Perform vehicle and equipment inventory, loading, and maintenance.
  • Communicate with office staff about project aspects.
  • Work independently, making technical and supervisory decisions within specified limits of authority.
  • Prepare daily time sheets, data logs, expense reports, and field change orders.
  • Participate in Survey Department training.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of relevant field experience.
  • Proficiency in Trimble, GPS R-12, Robotic S-7, and Data Collector TSC3.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather.

Salary Range: $30 per hour to $55 per hour*

*Salary Range is based upon level of education, years of experience, proficiency, and depth of knowledge in the industry.
