Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wound Ostomy RN to join our team at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. As a Wound Ostomy RN, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive wound and ostomy care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds and ostomies, and develop and implement treatment plans to promote healing and prevent complications.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound and ostomy care, including wound management, ostomy care, and continence care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • California Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Board Certified WOCN or WCC and OMS within 1 year of hire.
  • 1 year experience in medical/surgical nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Wound and ostomy care experience.
