Job Title: HVAC Pipefitter

Sphere Mechanical Corp. is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of HVAC Pipefitter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems essential to our operations.
  • Showcase expertise and contribute to delivering top-notch mechanical solutions to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine piping system layout.
  • Measure, cut, and bend pipes using hand and power tools.
  • Install and assemble piping systems, including joining pipes by welding, brazing, soldering, and threading.
  • Inspect and test installed systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
  • Collaborate with team members, including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and construction personnel.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in pipefitting preferred.

Journeyman Certification:

  • Completed an accredited journeyman program.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipe Fitter or similar role, with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Compensation:

$42.50 hourly

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
