We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to fill the role of Rural Carrier Associate with our team. As a key member of our mail delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that mail reaches its destination on time and in good condition.

Job Summary:

  • Casual, deliver, and collect mail along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle.
  • Provide customers on the route with a variety of services.
  • Sort mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route.
  • Receive and sign for accountable mail.
  • Load mail in vehicle.
  • Deliver mail to customers along a prescribed route and on a regular schedule by a vehicle.
  • Collect monies and receipt for accountable mail.
  • Pick up mail from roadside boxes.
  • Return mail collected, undelivered mail, and submit monies and receipts to post office.
  • Prepare mail for forwarding and maintain records of change of address information.
  • Prepare a daily trip report and maintain a list of the customers on the route.
  • Conduct special surveys when required.
  • Provide for mail security at all times.
