Wind Tower Climber Experienced Base/Mid

We are seeking an experienced Wind Tower Climber to join our team at Blattner Company. As a Wind Tower Climber, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing wiring, generators, equipment, and control systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Installation: Raise, place, and unite iron and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks.
- Tower Wiring: Install, test, and repair wiring, generators, equipment, and control systems.
- Physical Demands: Stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Work Environment: Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; frequently exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat; occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
- Safety and Security: Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
- Attendance/Punctuality: Is consistently at work and on time.
- Dependability: Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent; or equivalent combinations of training and experience.
