About the Job

Athena Health Care Systems is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Oakland Grove Health Care Center in Woonsocket, RI.

As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
  • Current LPN license with the state
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum one year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility
