Your Qualifications

Proven experience in preparing individual tax returns.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Access to high-speed, dependable internet service.

Proficient in technology, particularly MS Teams and Outlook.

Instill confidence in clients through your capacity to articulate complex tax matters clearly via phone, email, and chat.

Experience employing effective customer service strategies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or an equivalent assessment.

Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Commitment to fulfilling the 18-hour continuing education requirement and adhering to all IRS and applicable state regulations.

Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax periods.

Competence in researching information using various tax resources and publications to address client needs (e.g., IRS Publications/Instructions).

Preferred Qualifications

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.

Experience in preparing complex tax returns.

Over 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.

Experience conducting virtual tax consultations that foster client confidence.

Experience in tax planning and audit support.

Background in sales and/or marketing.
