Job Title: Residential Monitor

Job Summary:

New Opportunities Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Residential Monitor to join our team. As a Residential Monitor, you will be responsible for providing supervision and support to residential clients, ensuring a safe and secure environment, and promoting a culture of respect and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall supervision of residential clients and facilities
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment
  • Treat all residents with respect and common courtesy
  • Account for all residents at all times
  • Supervise recreation periods, sanitation activities, and client movement
  • Enforce program rules and regulations
  • Inspect parcels for contraband and search individuals as needed
  • Transport residents as required
  • Supervise clients performing community service
  • Prepare incident reports and misconduct reports as necessary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum two years experience in social service, security, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • CT Driver's License and Public Service license preferred
