Key Responsibilities:
The Certified Nursing Aide will be responsible for delivering direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Key duties include:
- Executing orders from physicians and other healthcare providers within the established scope of practice.
- Assisting inmates with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, and personal hygiene.
- Supporting medical staff during examinations and procedures, ensuring inmates are prepared and comfortable.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and work areas.
- Managing inventory and supplies in the Health Service Unit to ensure availability of necessary materials.
Position Details:
This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, primarily during evening shifts. The role necessitates a full onsite work arrangement.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have completed an accredited Certified Nurse Aide program and hold current certification in New Jersey. CPR certification and a valid driver's license are also required.
Physical Requirements:
The position demands physical capability to perform CPR for extended periods and assist in lifting patients who may weigh up to 50 pounds.
