Job Overview:
The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in the logistics of finished goods, overseeing their movement, storage, and distribution post-manufacturing. Collaborating with warehouse personnel, this position ensures that all trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly, and that all outbound shipments are executed punctually. The representative is also responsible for maintaining organized inventories and ensuring a clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage work assignments for warehouse operations.
- Maintain accurate physical inventories and ensure alignment with S4/Hana and Warehouse Monitor systems.
- Prepare packing slips and bill of ladings for shipments.
- Oversee the proper loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring all documentation is in order.
- Guarantee timely and accurate delivery of all scheduled outbound shipments.
- Process post-good issues efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate proactively with internal sales teams regarding any delays in shipments and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure readiness of shipments for delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with warehouse and operations teams.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a customer service role within a corporate environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office suite is essential.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, negotiation skills, and effective complaint resolution experience are required.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
