Job Summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pot and Pan Sanitation: Ensure all pots and pans are cleaned and sanitized to prevent the spread of foodborne illnesses.
  • Dishwashing: Clean and sanitize all dishware and eating utensils during and after meals.
  • Replenishment: Set up and replenish dining tables with condiments, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, flatware, napkins, and serving trays.
  • Sanitation Requirements: Comply with all federal, state, and U.S. Air Force mandated sanitation requirements.
  • Food Serving: Assist with serving cooked food, dessert, pre-cut salad, and salad enhancements.
  • Housekeeping Services: Maintain the cleanliness of the dining facility, including floors, walls, and restrooms.
  • Floor Cleaning: Clean floors to ensure no visible dirt or dust remains.
  • Spot Floor Cleaning: Remove food spills and debris as needed.
  • Entranceways and Doors: Clean entranceways and doors, including outside matting, trash cans, and cigarette receptacles.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, kitchen, and dining areas.
  • Equipment Sanitation: Clean and sanitize food service equipment to prevent the spread of bacteria.
  • Utensil Sanitation: Clean and sanitize utensils, including roasting pans, baking pans, steam table inserts, and cooking utensils.
  • Waste Management: Empty waste barrels when they become no more than 3/4 full.
  • Self-Inspection: Conduct a self-inspection using the Candidate Quality Assurance Checklist each month.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
