Position Overview:
At Nightwing, we are committed to safeguarding our nation's interests and enhancing security measures through innovative solutions. As a COMSEC Manager, you will oversee the management of Communications Security (COMSEC) in diverse settings, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and deployment of In-Line-Network (INE) encryptors and secure communication devices.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of accounting reports to relevant authorities.
- Oversee the procurement, receipt, and maintenance of COMSEC equipment and encryption keys.
- Monitor supersession timelines and execute necessary software updates.
- Conduct regular audits, compliance checks, and incident reporting as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of an active U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is mandatory prior to employment.
- A bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in security management, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior certification from the NSA in COMSEC.
- Experience in Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environments.
- Familiarity with the COMSEC Accounting, Reporting & Distribution System (CARDS).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting COMSEC equipment.
- Experience managing Windows-based information systems.
- Knowledge of legacy COMSEC technologies.
