Key Responsibilities
  • Greet Patients and Visitors: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients and visitors, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive first impression.
  • Coordinate Patient Movement: Oversee the waiting area, coordinate patient movement, and report any issues to your supervisor.
  • Obtain and Verify Patient Information: Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and Verify Time of Service Collections: Prepare and verify time of service collections, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Resolve Eligibility Issues: Verify and resolve eligibility issues for upcoming patient appointments, ensuring seamless scheduling and patient care.
  • Resolve Front Desk Tasks: Resolve and complete front desk bucket tasks, ensuring efficient and effective patient services.
  • Work Cooperatively with Staff: Work collaboratively with patients, vendors, clinical staff, administrative staff, leadership team, and physicians to ensure exceptional patient care and service.
  • Comply with HIPAA Regulations: Comply with Federal HIPAA regulations and practice policies for the privacy and security of patient information.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • 1-2 Years of Customer Service Experience: Preferred
  • 1-2 Years of Front Desk/Registration Experience: Preferred
  • Registration, Insurance, and Scheduling Experience: Healthcare experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged Sitting and Computer Work: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Phone Calls and Communication: Prolonged periods of being on phone calls and communicating with patients and staff
  • Lifting and Bending: Ability to lift and/or carry up to twenty (20) pounds and bend/twist as needed
